A pedestrian was killed in a crash in Cutlerville on Tuesday night, according to the the Kent County Sheriff’s Department.
It happened just before 9 p.m. near the intersection of 72th Street and S. Division Avenue. The sheriff’s office said a homeless man who was in his 60s was crossing the street when he was struck by a car. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities said drugs and alcohol do not appear to be factors.
