CBS News reports search crews in the Indian Ocean have, for the first time, retrieved some debris possibly from missing Malaysia Airlines flight 370.

By the time it was late Saturday morning in the US, the day was coming to an end in the search area and the Australian Maritime Safety Authority said nothing retrieved had been confirmed to be from the plane. CBS's Steve Futterman reported from Kuala Lumpur that analysis of that material could help identify if it is from the jet.
