Posted July 8th, 2014 @ 9:48am

Scientists have recently identified 10 proteins in the blood that may predict the onset of Alzheimer's disease.

The study was published in Alzheimer's & Dementia and found that certain blood proteins could be used to predict the onset of Alzheimer's Disease in those with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI).

Researchers found that in people with MCI the combination of 10 proteins in the blood could predict with 87% accuracy, just who would get Alzheimer's within one year.
