A wrong-way crash has shut down the southbound lanes of US-131 at 36th Street in Wyoming.
Michigan State Police said two vehicles were involved in the wreck, which happened just south of the 36th Street overpass, and at least three people were injured.
A witness at the scene said the crash involved a car and another vehicle.
Southbound traffic has backed up well past the 28th Street exit. Police are asking drivers in the area to find another route.
Wyoming police said a second wreck also occurred in the northbound lanes of US-131 north of 28th Street. The severity of that wreck was unknown, and one lane of the highway was shut down for about 40 minutes, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation.
