The family of Jessica Heeringa plan a candlelight vigil for Saturday night to mark six months since the woman disappeared from her closing shift at the Sternberg Road Exxon Mobil gas station in Norton Shores.

The candlelight vigil is 6pm to 9pm at the strip mall neighboring the gas station, according to WOOD TV.

The Norton Shores police chief has said detectives are still working the case, but they haven't received any solid tips in months.

Last week, a dive team searched Muskegon Lake after a fisherman reported snagging a heavy tarp in his line.  Crews didn't find anything, though.

The reward for information leading to finding Heeringa stands at more than $15,000.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Norton Shores Police Department at 231-733-2691.
