Lakeshore Dredging Begins

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers says that dredging in Saugatuck will begin in mid-July. 

It's a nearly half-million dollar project to dig the bottom out of that harbor and in South Haven and New Buffalo as well, according to the Holland Sentinel

The big waves from the Superstorm Sandy were blamed for shoaling many of West Michigan's harbors off Lake Michigan.
