A jury has ruled against a company called Extreme Adventures. It had sued saying the Enbridge Oil Spill in the Kalamazoo River prevented it from providing guided Whitetail deer hunts for the disabled in the Fort Custer Recreation area.
It took the jury just 20 minutes to decided the case had no merits. Extreme Adventure was asking for more than 60-thousand dollars in damages. The case was the first suit to go to trial in connection with the oil spill.
