Authorities named the 17 year olds from Holland dying in a two car crash on westbound I-196 early today.

State Police in Rockford said Julien Alexander Tirado was driving the vehicle that left the freeway at a very high rate of speed around 12:15 a.m. near Butterworth. The other teen dying, Kevin Signoy Boonheaun was found at the scene by Grand Rapids Fire first responders and state troopers. A car that tried to avoid a vehicle witnessing Tirado's crash struck the damaged car in the freeway's left lane, sending a third passenger to Spectrum Health-Butterworth.

The update on the accident indicates a fourth passenger in Tirado's car who ran from the scene has not been identified and is still being sought. The post also wants anyone who saw the accident to call (616) 866-4411 and ask for Trooper Pipe.
